Mourne Granite can supply a range of coping stones which are specifically designed to prevent the egress of water into the structure of a cavity wall whilst providing a strong aesthetic kerb appeal.

Detail: The main things one must consider when making an enquiry regarding coping stones is the width of the wall, the length of the wall and the preferred colour finish.

Types Available

1. Once Weathered Coping – This product only has a gradient sloping to one edge of the stone. This product most commonly requires a drip grove cut into it for the distribution of water etc.
2. Plain Weathered Coping Stone – This product is most commonly seen with a peak in the middle. This distributes the water off both sides and once again this product requires a drip channel.
3. Twice Weathered Decorative Coping – This is the most popular style of coping. Featuring decorative sides, this stone needs to fit flush onto the wall and the drip is incorporated into the sides.
