Building — Quoins

Quoins are the decorative cornerstones of a wall. They may be structural or purely decorative. Quoins give the impression of strength and firmness to the outside of a building.

Detail: Available in a range of different sizes colours and finishes, they are proportionately sized in keeping with the structure on which they are being used. The finishes are mostly rough or bush hammered whereby the quoin is sawn into shape and subsequently hammered either firmly or lightly to create the desired finish.
